Abstract: The network traces of Internet attacks are among the most valuable resources for network analysts and security researchers. The large majority of these attacks include shellcode executions and code injections. The purpose of this presentation is to understand what information is transferred through network packages related to these attacks, how to detect them with DPI. The literature will be presented on this special topic and a demonstration of detection will be held.
