Abstract: Machine learning algorithms are constructed in a way that they can learn from data and make predictions. These algorithms can be applied to many different areas such as optical character recognition, search engines, computer vision, and pattern recognition. In this seminar, topics like brief history of machine learning, how some algorithms work and applications of these algorithms on user identification by using the collected data of users’ touch interaction from mobile devices will be covered.
