Abstract: Resource planning aims to use existing resources effectively. Such problems are hard to find the best solution. One of these problems is university timetabling problem that universities encounter. Evolutionary algorithms might find good enough solutions in reasonable time period. Aim of this presentation is to survey different evolutionary algorithm approaches that can be applied to university timetabling problem.
