Abstract: Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) is one of the most popular branches of Public Key Cryptography. ECC, that provides the highest security level per one bit of key, is thought to be the one that will take RSA’s place in the future. The most important point of Cryptography is to be provided maximum security in minimum time. Thanks to the mathematical properties of Elliptic Curves, both security and efficiency can be satisfied. In this seminar, “Projective Coordinates” that is one of the methods that can increase the efficiency of basis functions of Elliptic Curves will be discussed.
