Security is the one of the most concerns for automotive industry. I have been researching what kind of communication protocols and standards have been used in this area. By tracing the communication, some algorithms which have been developed by auto manufacturers can be reversed engineered that means they need to use more reasonable techniques in order to unsure the protection of the vehicle. Some of them are already used these methods on the other hand most of them are still using the old faction protection procedure which is called immobilizer. For the last 20 years, this method had been ensured that the auto theft has been decreased however there needs to be some new ways to refresh its confidence. This is obvious as it would be proven by my research.
